My first time also drove out with a friend from college. I had signed up for this ride in 2020 with 4 galfriends but it got cancelled. Finally got to ride it, the first day did a 60 route that included Indiana and the Michigan loop so I could check IN and MI off my "riding the 50 states" list. I'm up to 40 now. The ride, route, volunteers, SAG, Amish everything was just amazing exceeded my expectations. I met so many great people. and the roads are just made for cycling. Some of my fastest rides this year. We will be back next year and will bring more family (my husband) and friends. Can't wait to see the photos.

This year was my first year doing this ride and it was perfect. That’s all that can be said. I came up here from Florida to visit and ride with several of my Florida snowbird friends who live up here. The weather has been phenomenal compared to waking up at 7 o’clock in the morning to 86° temperatures rising to 110 feels like! I hope to be back and you never know I may also move up here during these cooler summer months compared to Florida. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

I have ridden at least 6 AL&L weekend rides with friends. Such a great ride. We have told people about this ride, they came this year and said they loved it.
