ROUTES: On Saturday riders will have a choice of 22, 38, 52, 67, or 100 miles over smooth, quiet lightly traveled roads with few hills. The 67 and 100 mile routes pass through Shipshewana, and the 52, 67 and 100 mile routes loop through the lake filled scenic countryside around Wolcottville. On Sunday, we have routes of 23, 29, 39, and 50 that travel east through Amish country and the Pigeon River Nature area.

Friday Ride Option: For those who wish to ride on Friday we suggest the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. For instructions, directions, and general information follow this link.

AMISH: Traditionally many Amish families open stands along the Saturday routes, typically offering root beer floats, lemonade, cinnamon rolls and more. Keep in mind that while parts of the Sunday routes also pass by Amish farms, the Amish do not do business on Sunday and so you will not see any stands that day.

MAPS: The ride maps are in color with a high level of road detail. The maps are supplemented with downloadable cue sheets, GPX Track files (GPS route data) and TCX Course files (GPS route data). Printed maps will be provided at registration. The cue sheets, GPX and TCX files must be downloaded. The 2018 route map, cue sheets, SAG distances and GPS files are available below. Explainer: GPX vs TCX.

SAGS: Well stocked SAG stops will be provided along the tour route. Their location and hours of operation are clearly marked on the tour maps. Amishland and Lakes is known for great SAG food including watermelon, blueberries, peaches, bananas, fresh baked cookies and drinks. In addition, fresh baked goods, lemonade, ice cream, etc. can be purchased from Amish roadside stands along the routes. Please make sure that you and your bicycle are well off the road and do not cause congestion at SAG stops. See timetables below for SAG hours

A chart with the distances to each SAG for each route is available for download above. This info will also be available at registration and at each SAG stop

ENTERTAINMENT: Amishland favorite Acoustic Justice will be the featured entertainment after the Saturday ride.

SAGWAGONS: Sagwagons will be provided to maintain safe conditions on the tour route, to furnish first aid and to assist with EMERGENCY bicycle repairs. They will be clearly marked, will be staffed by members of the MBA and will carry a stock of the most commonly needed spare parts.

BICYCLE MAINTENANCE: Participants are required to bring their bicycles in good working order. Bike service will be available at Lakeland High School.

FACILITIES: Indoor restrooms will be available at the High School. Indoor showers will be available for all riders after the ride. The 4-H Campground also has showers for those using its facility. Porta Potties will be available at each SAG stop.
